Providing a community safety network platform with ever increasing awareness through constructive incident and experience sharing. Community members can login and submit their own innovative “Best Practice” ideas. Information will be distributed to subscribers to broaden the knowledge pool of safety professionals through accident prevention. Annual Safety Performance Report

Beginning in 2015, ABC has launched an industry-leading initiative to help examine the role that leading indicators--near-miss reporting, toolbox talks/training, new hire orientations, etc.--play on a company's safety performance. Using data compiled through its' groundbreaking Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP), the annual ABC Safety Performance Report uses six leading indicator questions from the STEP application and, through an analysis of the more than 1600 unique data records submitted each year, conclusively shows how, when implemented and used properly, leading indicators can help companies prevent lost and disrupted lives on the jobsite.

RONGE Award

ABC and our members are always looking to recognize individuals who promote safety by their own actions. The intention of the ABC Safety Employee of the Month Award is to recognize people for some specific thing they have done to enhance, promote or otherwise improve the process of protecting people, property, or the environment. A secondary benefit of the award is to raise awareness and promote membership in ABC.

Any member of the chapter can nominate an individual who is employed by an ABC member company. Each nominee will be evaluated on the following criteria: effort, impact on HES within and outside the organization, initiative, innovation and creativity. The successful nominee will be awarded at the quarterly safety workshop or at their company’s job site. Submit a RONGE Safety Award
