The Accredited Quality Contractor Program (AQC) provides ABC contractor members with local and national recognition for their efforts in the areas of safety, training, employee benefits and community involvement. Contractors meeting strict criteria in these four areas are awarded AQC status on an annual basis by the association. Contractors that successfully qualify as "Accredited Quality Contractors" are accredited for one year and are entitled to all the privileges of the program during that period. "Accredited Quality Contractors" receive a plaque and other benefits, including:
- National and local recognition in publications.
- Authorization to use AQC language in bid documents.
- Permission to use the AQC logo on letterhead, business cards and jobsite signs.
